Paphiopedilum primulinum v. purpurescence 

Paph. primulinum has an interesting history with the alba form being described first and is said to be the most abundant naturally while the colorful variety purpurescence the less common. These are also much more compact, being the smallest of the sequential species but still can flower for months. Picture is the first to bloom from this group

SEASON: Can bloom anytime

TEMPS: Intermediate

WATERING: Well watered year round, damp but not soggy

LIGHT:  Filtered, bright light
