Ancistrochilus rothschildianus 'Orchid Dynasty'

 A very unique West African terrestrial, Ancistrochilus rothschildianus has a reputation of being difficult to grow but if kept to a monsoonal watering regime, it can be grown very successfully in an intermediate space. Large unique flowers and interesting "Hershey Kiss" pseudobulbs

SEASON: Fall

TEMPS: Intermediate

WATERING: (MONSOONAL) Begin watering once new growth emerges and keep damp the entire growing season, then after blooming reduce watering to once per week and then stop watering by mid-late December. Water very infrequently (about 1 time every second week). Once the new growth emerges in the Spring keep damp and repeat cycle

LIGHT:  Filtered, bright light
